तेरी एक नज़र
तेरी उस एक नज़र के दीवाने क्या हुए,
हम तो भरी महफ़िल में सबसे बेगाने हुए ।
शायरी की मांग करते रहे सब लोग,
और हम शब्द-बे-शब्द यूँही लड़खड़ाते रहे
हाँ चलो आज इज़हार करता हूँ,
ये सच है की तुमसे प्यार करता हूँ ।
पता नही अब क्या होगा इसका अंजाम,
इस फिक्र में ये रात भी तुम्हारे नाम करता हूँ ।
चलो आज फिर से इश्क़ की शुरुआत करते हैं,
तुम्हारी सुनते हैं और कुछ तुम्हारे नाम करते हैं ।
कोशिश रहेगी गलतियों को ना दुहराने की,
“कुछ नया कर” इस इश्क़ को अंजाम देते हैं ।
भरे बाज़ार में मुलाकात आंखों की हो गयी,
जो बरसो से ना हुआ, आज वो बात हो गई,
जिसको भुलाने में जाने कितने साल थे गँवाये,
बस पल भर के दीदार में यादों का इंतेज़ाम कर गयी ।

Translation:
You drove me crazy with one look,
And I felt distant even amidst a crowd.
Everyone kept asking me to sing poetry,
And I stuttered at every word.
Yes, let me propose today
It is true that I love you.
I don’t know what will happen now
And in this worry, I spend this sleepless night.
Let’s fall in love all over again,
I will hear you out and surrender everything in your name.
There will be an effort not to repeat the same mistakes,
Let’s carry out this love by “Doing something new”.
Our eyes met in a crowded market,
What has not happened for years, has happened today,
Your one glance reminded me of all those moments,
Which took me years to forget.
